Performance Max

Even though Google rolled out its Performance Max campaigns last year, the tactic has been more than prevalent in 2023. Performance Max campaigns allow marketers to display their message on all Google products from Search to YouTube to the Google Discover app.

Product Studio

Product Studio helps businesses create product imagery using generative AI.

With the holiday season coming around the corner, Google has made some updates to assist marketers with their campaigns. One of the noticeable updates that is now available is the ability to create 3D images for shopping campaigns within the Product Studio (located in the updated Merchant Center Next). According to Google, users are 50% more likely to engage with a 3D image.

Here are a few things the Google’s Generative AI can do to improve product images:

  • Add custom product scenes

  • Remove distracting product backgrounds

  • Increase resolution

As you can see in the images above, users can avoid a costly photo reshoot by adding backgrounds to product images. Conversely, complex and distracting backgrounds can be removed easily in Product Studio.

Product Studion also features the ability to increase resolution and improve image quality without having to reshoot a product.

Google offers generative AI to businesses helping them easily create unique and tailored product imagery for free using the images they already have, right from Merchant Center Next.
